2005 Spring Schedule

Spring soccer season is fast approaching ... and I want to give everyone a little blurb about what the tentative plans are.  It's open to everyone, regardless of if you've played on the team before or not.

Our mandatory interest meeting will be this Wednesday March 9th from 9-10pm in the CRC Room 240. When you walk into the CRC just keep going straight (you don't have to swipe your buzzcard or anything) and after a while there will be rooms on your left (the pool is on your right). If you cannot come to this meeting and are still interested in playing soccer this spring, you need to email me and let me know why you can't make it. Thanks!

Practice will start on March 14th and will be Mondays 4-6pm and Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm (both at Burger Bowl).  Make sure you're getting in shape to play since our season will only be a month and a half!!

Here are our tentative spring plans (I don't know if they're displayed in the best way though!):

• Mandatory Interest Meeting on Wednesday March 9th at 9pm.  It will be held in the CRC Rm TBA.  I'll email you once I get a place confirmed.  If you cannot meet at this time for some reason and are still interested in playing, let me know but remember this is mandatory.

• Once again...Practices:   Monday 4-6pm, Thursdays 5:30pm-7:30pm  both on Burger Bowl.  First practice will be on March 14th.  Make sure you're running or doing something to get into shape.  We'll only have a few practices before our first games so we need to be in good shape before that.

• April 9th- UGA at Campbell Middle School in Smyrna at 2:15. Here is a map.  We will meet at the student center at 12:40.  Score: UGA 3, Tech 2. See the pictures.

• April 10th- Fundraising Car Wash, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. More info here .

• April 16th- 4 vs 4 tournament on CRC fields put on by us and the guys club team. See the pictures.

• April 17th- possible game against FSU and/or MDSU (Middle Tennessee) - this is very tentative

• April 23rd- possible mini tournament with Emory University (varsity team) and other teams at Emory.

All of this could definitely change a little bit.  All the dates will be the same though (not much room to be flexible!).  Let your friends know about spring soccer and get them out!!  Let me know if you have any questions.
