What If I Was Right
What If I Was Right, "Kill Rock Stars compilation (Jacksons Jukebox) and B-side on the CD single of You're No Rock 'N' Roll Fun"
It's a super song. It should have appeared on the Hot Rock CD. It sounds bright and happy. (I haven't paid any attention to the lyrics.) It's got everything: fast and slow, how and cold, call and response riffs, and intro and outro. There is even and organ or something in the background. Riff 3 is spare and cleverly arranged between the two guitars, I don't don't know if I have exactly right. Riff 4 sounds bigger than it should with a dash of dissonance.
I sure hope I've done this well enough for you to figure out.
-
Quarter note = 160 or so.
-
Standard tuning. But tuning down 3 half on the low string helps for the Low D-flat on Guitar 2.
-
Tabbed where it felt good on the fretboard but there are alternatives.
-
Tuning down is required for authenticity but it sounds great in standard tuning.
-
Big slow images, please be patient.
Riff 1, intro and verse
Riff 2, chorus:
Riff 3 is part one of the bridge - low gear
Riff 4 is the bridge in high gear
