Golden Isles Parkway

We went to Ormond Beach the long way and briefly toured the towns on the way. Delights everywhere. We need weeks to photographs everything. Vanishing Souty Georgia, one of my heros,  has got a start.

Three in a row on Church Street, Lumber City, Georgia. The first has new siding with lesser trim but it keeps its dignity. The second and third are a bit beat up but retain their details. I love the minimal landscaping. Why are they here?

The Jesup Georgia Depot had a fire. Federal grants are in the mill to restore it. Jesup is a significant AMTRAK stop. Folks board buses from here to the "Golden Isles."

The Lumber City Methodist Church is almost too perfect to believe.
