Announcements *****************

***Buildings and Grounds Workday!! Saturday, April 19 9:00 AM -- mid-day. Please come to help spruce up Grady as we move through spring.  On Saturday, April 19, please join us to clean up the grounds and perhaps help prepare for the renovations.  We'll start at 9:00 and work until we're done or we're out of workers!  Meet at the walkway near the gym. Community service hours for students who participate!  If you can attend, it would help greatly for planning purposes to e-mail Fred Koehl at fkoehl@yahoo.com.  As we firm up the agenda this will help us plan equipment as well as the projects we can address with a given number of people.  Thanks!

***The Grady PTSA is planning a thank you tea party to honor all the many volunteers who have supported  Grady High School this year. The Tea will held on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at Park Tavern. Please forward the names of any volunteers to Lydia Brandon at btw83inc@bellsouth.net. This may include yourself or others, who have stepped forward this year and helped in any way at Grady. It could have been with the a club activity, for a teacher, on a PTSA committee or fundraising in the parking lot. Further details will be mailed later.

***Exchange Students Need Hosts - This coming school year the Grady Family will continue to Globalize as new and fresh high school exchange students enroll at GHS.  These students are not traditional exchange students, they are recipients of US State Department Scholarships (FLEX and Congress-Bundestag), speak excellent English, are excellent students, and are highly motivated.  Four (4) of these students need host families to take them in a treat them as a family member.  Please contact William Teasley (Kateryna Saykovska 12th Grade GHS) for information on hosting (404-622-8783).

***Health Occupations Students of America and PATHS would like to THANK the students of Grady High School for such a great turnout for the Blood Drive. We had 50 students/staff members to sign up to give blood and we actually collected 40 pints.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS!
