For future *GradyGrams
5-24-02 9AM Visions of the Future, Theater 5-25-02 2:00 Graduation, Civic Center GIRL'S BASKETBALL TRYOUTS: Practice and tryouts for the Grady girls basketball teams will be next week, Monday, Oct. 21 thru Fri, Oct 25 in the new gym at 3:45pm each afternoon. You must be certified and have your physical to try out. See Coach Black for questions. Inman Writers’ Workshop Call for Writers, Nov. 13-15 So much fun, so little time! Fascinating and functional presenters are beginning to sign on to the Workshop’s Online Registration. Just a sample of the last three in: Milam Propst, author of “A Flower Blooms on Charlotte Street,” now being filmed locally, with “Write a story about your favorite Grandparent”; Allison Wagner, owner of the online art gallery, www.artcanyon.com, on writing about art; Vicki Flier, training specialist with Immucor and experienced travel writer, on “Travel Writing for Young Adults.” We are working to get some mystery guests from a certain Atlanta pro sports team, and will have presenters from the wealth of news, recording and television industries in Atlanta. However, we still need you. We have 180 workshops to fill and know that you, too, could tell a story about writing in your career and life that would engage our students. If you would just like to help monitor classes, we promise you a very entertaining day. Go to http://inmanwritersworkshop.gracobes.com and register now to celebrate the written word at Inman – our students will thank you for it! - Jennifer French Echols, Talent Scout
