12-18-00 What the Grady mailing list is all about.
What?
Please join the Grady email list. This new mailing list is an effort by the Grady On-Line Website and the Grady Cyberspace Project to support Grady by building its online community.
Why?
The mailing list is a new tool for keeping the Grady community informed and involved. It's for students, parents, teachers, staff, prospective students/parents, and alumni.
How will it work?
About once a week, beginning in January, we will mail you information about Grady activities. We will include schedules, events, sports, and more. We will collect information from the PTSA, the Grady staff, Sports Boosters, Grady On-Line, and others. Over time your feedback will tell us what you want to know.
Will it invade my privacy?
The Grady Mailing List is private. You can delete your address (and add your address back) at any time. No one else can see or use the list. (Technical: SPAM crawlers cannot find your address.) When we send a message, it will be from "gradyproject" (me) to you. There will not be a giant list of addressees for you to scroll through and no advertising.
How do I sign up?
- On the web go to "http://hometown.aol.com/gradyproject"
- Click on "Join the Grady Mailing List" link and follow the directions.
- You will enter your first name, last name, and your email address.
- Then you click on "Submit." That's all.
- If you want me to do it for you, send me an email.
