Morningside/Lenox Park Association sponsors the Morningside Security Patrol which provides additional police protection for our neighborhood. These patrols are staffed by off-duty City of Atlanta Police.  When on duty for MSP, officers carry their police radios enabling them to answer 911 calls originating from our neighborhood.  Many times, they will be the first to respond to a 911 call. Additionally, they have a phone number with an answering machine for non-emergency messages.  Members can also request that the patrols check on their homes when they are out of town. When they return, MSP will send them a notice detailing the officer's visit to their home.

Membership dues for the MSP are currently $170.00.  This includes membership to MLPA, our neighborhood association.  Senior Citizens pay a reduced rate of $100.00.

MSP dues are renewable on an annual calendar basis.  Dues are pro-rated so you may join anytime during the year. 

MSP members receive a yard sign with a decal for the membership year .   MSP members receive crime statistic information and other pertinent security news  in an e-mail bulletin approximately every other month.
