In general, the look of the site can be much improved by
removing repeated headings & links

HEADER

Kane logo & Business Management System needs to be larger Remove Kane Constructions PTY Ltd Richmond Victoria

From the heading above the red line, I would prefer that only Home & Search be carried through from the homepage to BMS page (So BMS Docs, CV's, Quickforms, Help & Suggestions remain on the homepage)

Prefer that only one button/link for each function be on each page....to avoid repetition & subsequent confusion (i.e should only be one search button/link, should only be one Policies button/link) Prefer the headings over the 12 sections of the BMS be included (As per old intranet - Policies, Staffing & Improvement are listed under
Overview etc)

Look at utilising drop down menu's from the 12 headings or try and utilise the left hand column without repeating headings & links

FOOTER

Once again, the footer is repeating other links at the top of the page.

Simplify it by utilising the footer from the Kane website, and place a heading just above the broken red line that links back to the top of the page.

COLOURS

Try adopting the blue in the Kane Logo for background where you use sky blue & light blue, with white text Leave the centre of the page white.

As you can see, the most readable color combination is black text on white background; overall, there is a stronger preference for any combination containing black. The two least readable combinations were red on green and fuchsia on blue. White on blue and red on yellow were ranked fairly high, while green on yellow and white on fuchsia were ranked fairly low. All others fell somewhere between these extremes.
