Mac,

I am continually impressed by your website.  I used it again today and found another Sloss listed as lost onboard HMAS Canberra.

I also visited the Maritime Museum in Sydney two weeks ago and viewed the USS Canberra bell on display.  I imagine the christening engraving has not been worked, but I couldn't tell.

Hope you are well.
Captain Dan Sloss, USN

Dan,

How nice to hear from you, and thank you for your kind words about AHOY. It is a joint effort with my friend Terry in Atlanta Georgia, he does all the web end, and I provide the content.

I am continually suprised at the number of people who write to us about it all.

I recently viewed the USS Canberra bell in its Maritime Museum venue. I have not been able to get Raymond's name inscribed therein, and you must be nearing the end of your tour here in Australia.

Have you any more thoughts on how that may be achieved?

All the best,
Mac.
