JoAnn Kearns has been a small business accountant since 1992 and is a perpetual PTA and civic organization treasurer.  Somehow, she manages to handle payrolls, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for up to nine organizations at once.

JoAnn earned a BA in Psychology at Agnes Scott College and immediately joined what is now Equifax as a market researcher.

JoAnn honed her accounting skills while pursuing an MBA at Georgia State University by working part-time as a teller at C&S Bank, now Bank of America.  JoAnn quickly earned a management job.  She worked in cost analysis, time management analysis and became a management information officer.

JoAnn chose family over a banking career and MBA.  She became very active in school and civic organizations ultimately becoming PTA president for two different schools and serving as co-president of the Morningside / Lenox Park Neighborhood Association in northeast Atlanta.

JoAnn's service as PTA treasurer returned her to the world of accounting and ultimately to the business world.

JoAnn also answers to "Jo Ann Kearns."
