GHS Athletic Booster Club News

The 2001 - 2002 GHS Athletic Booster Club has been busy, as the fall sports season has gotten underway!

We've stocked up on tee shirts, seat cushions, and other specialty items for YOU to purchase. Please support GHS Athletics and purchase some of our spirit items for sale at games.

Notes of interest:

• Booster Club Meeting September 11, 2001 6:00 PM (before PTSA Meeting) in the GHS Gymnasium.
• GHS will begin an Athlete of the Week program. Coaches of all active sports will nominate one person each week. The winner will receive a T-shirt, certificate, announcement, posting on GHS Website, and reported to the AJC for possible spotlight in the newspaper. We are looking for companies to sponsor the tee shirts, please let us know if you or your business is interested.
• The Booster Club purchased a tent for used during competitions and tournaments. Contact Sarah Chaffin to reserve the tent.
• Football parents participated in a great parent's meeting to organize pre game meals for the football team…WAY TO GO!!
• Varsity cheerleading parent's had their first parent's meeting. Thanks to Ms. McNew for all of her insight. Look out for the Varsity Cheerleader's parents in their new team tee shirts at the next game!
• Don't forget to come spend your money with us at the first home game, Friday, September 7, 2001. We have quite a selection of GHS merchandise.
• Way to go GHS Grey Knights on the first football win against Clarkston!!!
• Congratulations to the GHS Cross Country Team on their recent fundraiser!!!
