About
I'm Rebecca Cree. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, I lived in Birmingham until I was 12 years old. Then we moved to Montreal, Pittsburgh and back south to Atlanta, Georgia where I finished high school. Then it was off to college.

I was named Rebecca and I think it is a beautiful name that I prefer, but my family and friends all call me Becky. I answer to both names plus a miriad of other nick names, too. Just be sure to call me, no matter what name you use.
My carreer in construction
After attending Valdosta State, I returned to "HotLanta" and began working in downtown Atlanta. I worked as a secretary at various companies until moving to Florida and landing in a construction trailer at the St. Johns County Courthouse job site in St. Augustine, Florida.
I loved working on the construction site where all the action was; that is where I learned the most about project management. Metric Constructors transferred me back to Atlanta where I worked on the Emory University Campus on the new math building.
The Emory personnel were so impressed with my work that they hired me away from Metric Constructors to work in the Facilities Construction Department for several years. It was there that I was inspired, and encouraged to return to school at the Georgia Institute of Technology where I earned a Certificate in Building Construction.
I've worked in commercial construction for over 15 years for large companies such as Media One Cable Company in the Facilities Department as Project Manager of Renovations, and Hogan Construction Group as a Project Manager.
Finding my calling in design and decorating
I volunteered to decorate a condominium on St. Simons Island, Georgia, while still working full time. I presented the association with a plan and a budget, and it was accepted. After all was said and done, I came in under my own budget by $2,000. I loved every minute of the project, and the association was very pleased with the end results.
Between my education, experience and creative ability, it was a natural conclusion. I haven’t looked back. I now have a very happy career in interior decorating.
Have tape measure - will travel
I enjoy entertaining, cooking, gardening, the mountains and being near any body of water. I'm currently single, no pets, and no children, so ... "have tape measure - will travel" is my moto. My business is not confined to the south or the U.S. I will travel anywhere "to make your world a more beautiful place!"
