Dinner with Karen at French restaurant "Vin'" TIJ (Wine Botique): Pricey but worth it.  We all had crab cakes for entrees. Appetizers and salads. Food and wine were excellent. Sharing entrees worked well, plenty to eat.

Trip to video store and home for movie.

Tuesday April 8, 2003 - extremely rainy all day.

Donuts from the "Donut Hole" also a good place for breakfast.

Looked at real estate , $1.6 million on the beach.

Shopped at the "Zoo Gallery."

Picked up other friends vacationing at Destin

Ate lunch at "Seagrove Grill." Sassy friendly waaitresses! Great food, very casual.  The restaurant is in back of a small grocery store. Ordered at the window, waitress serves at the booth. Too rainy to eat on the patio.

Stopped at Seaside and went to "Modern Market for bottle cozy.

Went back to buy a hostess gift at antique shop ??? from yesterday.

We liked Bienvenue Atiques and ???.

Bathed.

Took the senior girls to "Harbor Docks."  Charles Morgan is the owner. We had a connection - Charles is a high school friend of Nan's brother. He was very gracious. He reserced a table for us (the restaurant doesn't take reservations). Charles gave us free appetizers. When we were leaving, the seniors were surprised at gifts of free t-shirts from Charles. Entrees were easily shared. Pricey because of fress fish. Cobia, res snapper are in season.

Said goodbyes to the girls, then we returned to the condo and watches a movie.
