  • Get on I-75 South in Atlanta.

  • Tanger Outlets!

6:15 - 6:21 pm

  • Traffic jam near Monticello, GA.

6:22 pm

  • Passed I-475 Exit north or Macon.

6:31- 6:34 pm

  • I-16 in Macon. Stopped at a Chevron. Won $2 on a lotto ticket. Went to Larry's sub shop but it was closed.

6:49 - 7:20 pm

  • Went to Subway.

  • Vidalia, Georgia exit.

8:42 - 8:55 pm

  • Nature's call at McDonalds.

July 23, 2003 Wednesday, the ride home

4:15 pm

  • Departed "the property" but went back because we forgot something.

4:20 pm

  • Departed "the property" for the second time.

  • Left on Harris Neck Road

4:24 pm

  • Passed Harris Neck Grocery which was shut down.

4:29 pm

  • Turned north on Highway 17 at the "Smallest Church in America."

4:30 pm

  • Stopped at Chevron

4:38 pm

  • Got on I-95 North

5:02 pm

  • Turned west on I-16

6:21 pm

  • Stopped at a Dublin Exit 54 but the gas was too far away so we got back on I-16 West.

6:24 pm

  • Stopped at Dublin / McRae Exit 51, Highway 441 / 319 (hamburger row) and went to Wendy's

  • Back on I-16 West

  • Reached I-75 North

  • Stopped in Macon at Larry's Sub. (Exit 167) They were good, put Italian dressing on them. Cole slaw was too juicy for us. The potato salad was good but heavy on the dill.
  • Kudzu area bridge looks like a dog.

8:39 pm

  • I-75 at I-20 we're home. 281 miles, 4 hours and 19 minutes.
